The Studio

Our room is thoughtfully designed to foster an environment that invites spirit into the recording process and feels like a home to our artists. Large-scale studios can feel intimidating and induce pressure. We want you to feel like you're with friends and feel at home so you can express your most authentic work.

A space where positive energy and serenity become music

Located in Draper, Utah, Good Vibrations Records is a small intimate space that feels like home. We have a minimalist approach and spent considerable effort in selecting our gear. We aren't a large-scale studio with lots of space, instead we are focused on working with individual artists and build things a track at a time. We find this works well for the styles of music we like to work on and artists save money by not paying for a large space and lots of gear they won't use. If parts of your project require a larger space or more gear, we have a network of studios and musicians we can connect you with to get the sound you want for those parts of your project.

The Room

The Room

Our room is cozy with comfortable seating, tasteful lighting, artwork, and live plants to make you feel at home. The room is acoustically treated for a flat response while recording and mixing and we've done a lot of work to keep outside noise isolated. For playback we have a fantastic pair of Barefoot Sound Footprint03 Studio Monitors as well as a pair of ADAM monitors. The room is filled with a wide variety of instruments and percussion toys. We use both Logic Pro and Pro tools and have a massive 49" wide-screen monitor that allows our artists to be more engaged in their session even from the back of the room.
